Since 1983, The Domaine de l’Attilon has banned the use of composite chemical products.
Mechanical work, weeding by hand, burying the cut vine canes, as well as the use of green fertilizer, all maintain the
health of our soils, promoting microbic activity.
The spraying of Bordeaux mixture and powdering with sulphur flowers protect our vines from mildew and oidium, helped
along by the Mistral wine and the low rainfall. We have never treated against insects such as the cluster roller moth, leaf
hoppers or others. Natural predators, which are respected on our land and protected by our isolated position, carry out
their regulating role against insect pests to the full.
The fruit of our vines is carefully nurtured letting Nature do her work. Racking and filtering are confined to only essential
operations, which is the reason for the small deposit you’ll see in our bottles - the guarantee of a natural product.
